Saudi EXIM Signs MoU with the Foreign Branch of BOK International (Bahrain) on International Trade

​RIYADH, 8 Sept. – The Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Foreign Branch of BOK International Bank (Bahrain) to explore ways to collaborate on credit solutions for non-petroleum Saudi exports.
The signing comes as part of Saudi EXIM’s drive to establish national and international partnerships, grow and diversify Saudi exports and help make them more competitive across global markets.
The MoU was signed by His Excellency Eng. Saad bin Abdulaziz Alkhalb, the Chief Executive Officer of Saudi EXIM, and Mr. Fouad Darwish, CEO of the Foreign Branch of BOK International (Bahrain.) The signing took place at Saudi EXIM’s headquarters in Riyadh with th​e presence of top executives from both sides.
“This MoU with the Foreign Branch of BOK International (Bahrain) is in line with Saudi EXIM’s mission of securing all possible support for Saudi exports of non-petroleum goods and services and facilitating cross-border trade,” said Eng. Alkhalb. “Saudi EXIM aims to build more effective partnerships with national and international financial institutions to provide better credit solutions that meet the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives of growing non-petroleum exports and building a diverse, dynamic, and sustainable domestic economy.”
Darwish, the CEO of the Foreign Branch of BOK International (Bahrain,) expressed his delight with the signing of the MoU, commenting that it, “…opens new scopes of collaboration that create more opportunities for investment, bolster trade between the Kingdoms of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, and creates more channels of communication among regional banks that will facilitate Saudi Arabia’s imports, exports and positioning as an international trade hub.”​
