12 October 2022

RIYADH, 12 Oct. – The Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM) is among more than 5,000 global companies participating in this year’s GITEX GLOBAL, the largest technology event in the Middle East and North Africa.

Being held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 10 to 14 October, GITEX GLOBAL is focusing on the biggest issues surrounding artificial intelligence, blockchain, robotics, information technology, telecommunications, quantum computing, and digital currencies.

One of 33 Saudi companies that form the Made in Saudi Arabia pavilion at GITEX GLOBAL, Saudi EXIM is showcasing its financing and credit products and services, which enable local commercial banks and financial institutions to support Saudi exporters and foreign importers of Saudi goods and services. The bank is also raising awareness of its innovative solutions that support Saudi non-oil exports and bolster the acceptance and recognition of such goods across global markets.

Along with other national companies, Saudi EXIM is also highlighting the Kingdom’s transformation into a digital economy and the country’s efforts to enable emerging sectors and entrepreneurs to utilize advanced technologies to their fullest potential, helping them launch tech-based projects that drive the transformation and meets the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 target of a dynamic economy and sustainable growth.

His Excellency Turki Aldakhil, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the UAE, visited the bank’s booth at the Made in Saudi Arabia pavilion and reviewed the bank’s efforts to boost Saudi non-petroleum exports, as well as the overall efforts of the Saudi export system to solidify the Kingdom’s position as a global trade hub that connects the continents of Africa, Asia, and Europe.

With its participation in GITEX GLOBAL, Saudi EXIM is taking advantage of the huge presence of tech companies to create an environment that supports the innovation of solutions that not only benefit non-oil startups but also help entrepreneurs turn their investment ideas into tech projects with great potential, thereby pushing Saudi Arabia’s economic growth forward and creating a digital future that guarantees sustainability
