A delegation from the Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM), led by Chief Executive Eng. Saad Alkhalb, participated in the annual meetings of the African Development Bank Group, currently being held in Côte d'Ivoire from May 26 to 30.
The bank’s participation aims to strengthen cooperation with African financial institutions and expand strategic partnerships to support Saudi Arabia’s non-oil export sector.
On the sidelines of the meetings, Saudi EXIM signed four Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with Africa50, Ghana Export-Import Bank, Blend International Ltd, and the Republic of Guinea Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation. The MoUs aim to promote cooperation and facilitate the entry of Saudi non-oil exports into African markets.
Alkhalb emphasized that Saudi EXIM’s participation reflects its commitment to building international trade and credit partnerships that empower Saudi exporters and enhance economic cooperation with Africa. He noted that the meetings offer a valuable platform to engage with export credit agencies and financial institutions across the continent.
