25 May 2025

The Saudi EXIM Bank signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with the State Unitary Enterprise Industrial and Export Bank of Tajikistan and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) during the 2025 Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group Annual Meetings in Algeria.

The agreements aim to expand strategic cooperation and enhance access for Saudi non-oil exports to promising international markets.
Deputy CEO of Saudi EXIM Naif Al-Shammari signed the MoUs with Chairman of the Board of the State Unitary Enterprise Industrial and Export Bank of Tajikistan Bobozoda Khokimshoh and AFESD's Chairman of the Board of Directors Bader Alsaad.
Saudi EXIM's participation in the IsDB Group annual meetings is part of its ongoing efforts to explore investment and trade opportunities and strengthen institutional partnerships with member countries, contributing to sustainable development goals and enhancing economic integration.

During the event, the bank's delegation held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives from export credit agencies and financial and commercial institutions from member countries. Discussions sought to deepen economic relations, expand trade cooperation, and build financing channels that empower local exporters to expand their international activities.
