12 November 2025

The Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tunisian Company for the Insurance of Foreign Trade (COTUNACE) to enhance bilateral cooperation in export financing and trade insurance, and to facilitate the exchange of expertise and information. The agreement aims to support exporters and importers in both countries and improve the efficiency of cross-border trade.

IT was signed on the sidelines of 15th Aman Union Annual Meeting, held in Jeddah from Nov. 4-6, 2025 by Director General of International & Government Relations at Saudi EXIM, Naif bin Othman Alajroush, and President and Director General of COTUNACE, Nebgha Driss.

The MoU deepens collaboration between the two institutions in export credit and trade insurance, exchange of data and expertise, and joint project financing, among other areas, while seeking to expand Saudi exports to the Tunisian and neighboring African markets through advanced credit solutions.

Director General of International & Government Relations at Saudi EXIM Naif bin Othman Alajroush stated on this occasion: “This Memorandum of Understanding marks an important step toward strengthening financial and trade integration between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Tunisia. It will help enable Saudi exporters to access new markets and foster collaboration with regional trade insurance institutions. The MoU reflects the Bank's ongoing efforts to expand its international partnerships and bolster non-oil exports, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030
