H.E. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM), inaugurated the bank's headquarters in Riyadh. H.E. toured the facility, met with employees, and reviewed the bank's key achievements for 2022, particularly its efforts in enabling and enhancing the global competitiveness of Saudi non-oil exports.
In 2022, Saudi EXIM provided credit facilities and guarantees exceeding SAR 15.4 billion, including export credit insurance policies worth SAR 9 billion and export financing requests totaling SAR 6.4 billion. These facilities supported export activities across key sectors such as fertilizers, petrochemicals, glass, plastics, and steel. The bank also targeted critical industries to facilitate export deals in over 60 international markets. Additionally, Saudi EXIM expanded its international partnerships with financing and credit institutions to establish new credit lines, maximizing opportunities in global markets and creating new avenues for Saudi exports.
