12 September 2024

The Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM) launched a digital portal to provide "Non-Financial Services" (NFS) through the bank's website, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of export activities in the Kingdom, enabling local business sectors to grow, and enable their competitiveness to expand and spread in global markets.

Through this portal, the bank seeks to facilitate the access of enterprises to programs and solutions dedicated to building the business capabilities to develop and implement export activities, as part of developing and sustaining businesses, and providing comprehensive resources of the necessary systems and requirements in all stages of export operations, including providing studies and consultations, best practices and expertise for managing and developing international businesses, as well as benefiting from detailed information provided by government sources. The bank also has a specialized team that provides consultations according to the commercial activity, target markets and level of readiness for export.

It is worth noting that exporting is an important aspect in the growth and sustainability of enterprises, it creates positive impact on increasing sales and business growth opportunities for the enterprises when accessing new markets. Exporting also represents a successful strategic model to reduce the risks that might be faced by any commercial activity, as a result of relying on diversifying markets and reducing costs through economies of scale. Noting that enterprises presence in international markets increases their ability to compete, to obtain larger market shares, enhances quality and production standards, the development of technical specifications, and the use of international marketing tools and methods.

The Non-financial Services portal includes export procedures and requirements, sources for managing and sustaining business operations, sources for developing and growing businesses, and sources for studying markets and planning. The bank will work to develop non-financial services periodically, in an effort to provide the latest information and studies related to export activities and raise the readiness of enterprises to benefit from credit facilities prepared specifically for the growth of Saudi exports.

It is worth noting that the Saudi Export-Import Bank is a development bank affiliated with the National Development Fund and works to contribute to diversifying the economic base of the Kingdom, by enhancing the efficiency of the ecosystem to facilitate exporting of non-oil national products and services by bridging financing gaps and reducing export risks. This contributes to the growth of the national non-oil economy in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
